Who certifies your Nori as Organic?
All of our Nori is certified Organic by EcoCert and USDA. they are one of the strictest certification standards in the world! We also do independent testing for pesticides and radiation in the USA, and our Nori always comes back with a result of 100% non-detectable in all areas of radiation and pesticide residues.
Was Nori affected by the Japan earthquake/ radiation?
All of our Nori is grown in internationally certified Organic waters that are not near the affected areas of the Japan sea and are not downstream in any way of the affected areas. Therefore none of our Nori has been affected in any way from the radiation caused by the Japan Earthquake. We could not get our EcoCert Organic certification otherwise!
